Hey! The problem you're facing is pretty common. Removing the radiator from one RAM slot won't really hurt your performance much, but it might cause some minor issues if the RAM isn't seated properly. As for your second question, your friend is correct about the socket placement. You should only install RAM in the gray sockets—don't mix them up with black ones. Using the correct slots will help maintain stability and performance. Just make sure everything fits snugly and securely.

He's not going to cap it... You could just use a single channel. Yes, you can skip the heat sink from the memory module. Just be super careful or you might damage the chips on the PCB. I like running the memory bare. It's simpler to cool it and it keeps things clean and low-profile. Edit. I should note this might void the warranty if you remove the heat sinks. Just a reminder.

Have you considered moving the front fan to the back of the rear heatsink? Is there space available on your rear IO for this adjustment?

Here is the definition of "cap" from Urban Dictionary:

A small piece of equipment used to cover or protect something, often a hat or shield.

Thanks for your effort, but Urban Dictionary is unavailable. I'll locate the lube kid eventually and ask them.

Shortly, "cap" means to lie or be dishonest. "No cap" equals saying "I swear." But because it was misspelled as "capin," it sounds like a superhero cape, and using "cape" here means something else entirely.
