It's feasible. The quickest overview on updating BIOS involves accessing the official motherboard site for the specific model, where the precise support page should align closely with the manual guidelines on the website.

I was searching for a YouTube tutorial on Q-FLASH, but most I found were from a few years back. Would the steps stay consistent across all boards, including yours? I’m looking for a detailed, step-by-step guide so I can follow it carefully.

It's quite alike. Retrieve the driver file on a USB drive, not directly from a folder or an empty one. The file must remain uncompressed—no zip or similar. If it arrives as a compressed file, unpack it onto the USB Q-Flash before connecting it to the PC. Locate the specific USB port on the back of the case and press the flash button there; you should see an LED or blinking light indicating progress. This process usually appears in the manual and continues until the indicator turns into a steady light, signaling success. After updating, check the BIOS version and verify stability.

It appears Q-FLASH simplifies rollback options. For handling instability after an update, you can use its rollback features. Regarding the download, the F4 file is likely the correct one, though the manual may not specify exact steps.

If an issue arises during the update, it helps safeguard your setup. You can still benefit from Q-FLASH PLUS even if updates cause problems by ensuring you have the latest features and fixes available. Since details weren’t found in the manual, checking the official support resources or contacting the manufacturer would be the best next step.

Rollback follows this process; if something goes wrong during the BIOS installation—like power loss or a failure—it can corrupt the BIOS. This often means the motherboard becomes unusable and needs a complete reset. However, with a Q-flash chip, you can simply re-install everything without changing the flash. If the BIOS is damaged, updating won’t fix it unless there’s a serious compatibility problem with your USB drive, which is uncommon. You might just need to restart and try again. Q-Flash Plus offers an even smoother experience; it works without requiring a GPU or CPU for the update.

This improves my mood definitely. Your USB drive seems a bit outdated—around a 7-8 year old 16GB PNY model. The properties list shows USB 2.0, which might not be ideal. You should probably format it to FAT32, which it already does.

Regarding the Q-FLASH update, the guide suggests using it on a bare motherboard with only power cables and the CPU removed from the socket for safety. It mentions that Q-FLASH Plus works best in such conditions, though it’s riskier since any component failure could stop the process.

Not bad, old USB can actually work better. It's fine with components, and it's fine to do it in BIOS or with USB, it doesn't really matter.
