I own the non-WiFi model, which according to discussions on forums caused the most issues during BIOS updates. Yes. Even avoiding its use didn’t change the outcome.

You're trying to load the BIOS correctly. For an ASUS board, ensure your USB uses FAT32 formatting rather than NTFS. Also, avoid renaming tools unless you're using BIOS Flashback, as they're not needed in other scenarios.

They have specific requirements. I realized this after receiving the file 220104213715.BMP. When testing with different BIOS versions, the system still managed to read it successfully.

Sure, I can clarify that. Sometimes I switch between different versions during a BIOS upgrade. Typically they mention an update step, but it seems Asus doesn’t list that here. Are you currently using model 3103 or 4603?

I received a score of 3103. I’m probably installing it to check if an updated version works. My thoughts are uncertain about whether the inability to install relates to the CPU support introduced in version 4007.

Sure, I can try that if there’s no power issue. Just keep in mind it might need to restart a few times, which is normal.

Fortunately I have a UPS that provides roughly 45 minutes of power during an outage. Great, thank you! I'll keep you posted after I can update the BIOS.
