Last couple of weeks I always let my pc sleep instead of shutting down. However, the day before yesterday I did shut down my computer and last night I booted up my pc suddenly there is no internet connection. There are no problem with the internet connection for last couple of months and I did test the internet connection with my other devices. Everything did have internet connection except for my pc. I already have the latest drivers for my pc but the troubleshooter said that the drivers is the problem. Afterwards, I did try using previous drivers and nothing seems to be fixing the problem. I did try changing other ethernet cable and going to wifi with an usb adapter, anddddd nothing works still no connection. My pc detected everything (ethernet connection, wifi adapter A, wifi adapter B, wifi adapter C,.....) Is there a possibility that my motherboard has gone bad? Please Help. Thank you in advanced.

I can't directly access your PC to check its IP settings or gateway configuration. You'll need to use your network settings or an online tool to verify this information.

The computer is at home while I'm at the office. To verify its status, you can check the system settings or run a quick diagnostic.

The simplest method is using the command prompt. Open Start Menu, type "CMD", press Enter. A black box with grey/white text will appear. Enter "ipconfig /all". What you see matters: avoid unwanted results. If a third result appears, it could provide a hint.

Check your PC's network settings and ensure it has a valid IP address assigned. If not, contact your internet service provider or troubleshoot the connection.

It depends on what appears. We can think the problem is related to software. For IP, a command like ipconfig /renew could work, a reboot should also resolve it, and if neither helps, things will become more complex.

I frequently restarted my PC while testing various driver versions. I added a new motherboard to my online cart just in case. I’ll check the IP later. Appreciate your helpful replies. I’ll follow up on this soon.

I'll also verify the IP address format. The working hours appear to be excessive for today.

I understand, I’m not trying to mix things up. Just let me know the findings you want explained, and I’ll do my best to clarify.
