I heard there are USB problems with the Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro motherboard. Does the updated v2 version also have similar issues?

What problem are you aiming to prevent? If uncertain, consider switching to a different product.

The article mentions XMP issues with USB. Enabling XMP for the 2x16 3600MHz RAM might cause problems.

I handle two unmatched kits, each requiring 2x8GB, totaling 32GB with XMP activated. This represents the most challenging memory compatibility situation. My B550 Aorus Pro doesn't have any USB problems.

This seems to be a significant problem, likely fixed in version 2. If I were you, I'd switch to another model.

I don't have personal preferences, but I can suggest popular options based on common needs. What type of system are you building?

Can't suggest any since I haven't used B550. However, if I decide to buy it now, I'm likely going for the Asrock B550m Pro4.

No, B550 motherboards aren't ideal for the Ryzen 9 5950X.

It's feasible, but avoid the cheaper option as it will reduce the power delivery needed for that 16-core setup. The more expensive B550 costs the same as the budget x570, making the x570 a better choice.

Can you recommend any x570 motherboard?
