It's still a CPU, that's all you need. You can use it for your PC if you want. Unnecessary details.

Activating psycho visual tuning improves results and removes some details. I omitted it for a reason; my output looks cleaner. Three key points about the video: - The remaining examples appear to match NVENC behavior with x264. - Why is a low bitrate used for 1440p, especially at 3k and 6k? This isn’t ideal—downscaling would raise the bitrate instead. - At 4:10, you’ll see encoding hiccups in x264, which NVENC avoids since it’s CPU-intensive and no background game was running. Adding a game load would hurt performance. --If you’re firm on using x264, choose the option that matches your budget and cores. - In practice, quality differences are minimal, so I base this on extensive testing of bit rates, encoders, and filters—not just theory. Bitrate directly affects video quality; the encoder works harder to hit a lower target, but once it reaches the image size, further reductions don’t help.
