I built it myself with an i3 12100f, an asrock h610 m2/r2 motherboard, and an ssd m2 that uses SATA with two notches. It looks like a new setup, but the BIOS doesn’t show the SSD. When I check it, the SSD light stays red and doesn’t blink. What should I do? Thanks for your help—I’m really hoping this works out, especially since it’s my first build and I’m not sure what’s wrong.

This SSD appears to be imitating a Samsung "1090 Pro" that doesn't actually exist. It seems like a potential scam.

From my quick research, that's an AliExpress special, and is some random sad with a sticker on it. The vast majority of m.2 slots are NVMe ONLY. And that appears to be a SATA drive. It will not work in an NVMe only slot. I'd be surprised if it works at all.

You might want to check if updating the motherboard drivers is necessary. Also, consider whether purchasing an SSD NVMe would be a better option compared to what you found locally.
