Seeking an ENB setup for Skyrim that adds richer colors without being too flashy, while keeping depth of field gentle. Your hardware is solid—FX-6300, 16GB RAM, GTX 970—so smooth performance matters less. You prefer a balanced look over extreme settings like RealVision’s DoF or the Realistic Lighting Overhaul, which can make everything look dull. A subtle lighting tweak paired with a realistic ENB should give you an immersive feel without overwhelming visuals.

Real vision enb stands out as the top choice for realism and clarity. It may drop frames in certain areas unless you enable performance mode. Adjusting depth of field seems straightforward, which shouldn’t be an issue. Edit: Are you using dynavision? That could be the cause if it’s missing.

Is Dynavision a prerequisite to ENBs? I've never had it installed as far as I know

Hey, something went wrong. It wasn't the look I expected, was it? Check out the real vision option for images online. Many show you what it should be like—much clearer and less overexposed.

Dynavision is an independent mini-mod that lets you change Dof manually.

I really favor RealVision over PureVision.

Edit your Skyrim preferences file in documents\my games\skyrim according to the instructions from the ENB mod, save it, and then right-click it to change its properties. If you launch the Skyrim launcher again, it will prevent any further changes.

I’m reviewing the steps carefully to set up the ENB this time. I’ll share the photos once you’re done.
