Hello, your recent PC upgrade seems to have triggered some throttling on your CPU. No worries—this can happen after upgrades. You might want to check the thermal paste, ensure proper cooling, and see if any new drivers are needed. If the issue persists, consider running a system diagnostics tool or consulting a tech support service. Let me know if you need more guidance!

Verify your power state configurations are accurate and ensure no other processes are consuming system resources during benchmark execution.

It reaches a certain heat level. You're using a cooler. This is designed for a specific case. Share more details if you need further assistance.

Friends shouldn't let friends run UserBenchmark. Better tools like Cinebench, Heaven, 3DMark, etc., work much more effectively. Don’t worry about the UserBenchmark myth—those numbers are misleading. As for your CPU, what’s cooler is the 12900k; it’s a powerhouse and needs top-tier coolers to keep up.

This scenario is perfectly suitable for UserBenchmark, which focuses on evaluating hardware performance relative to similar components. It offers a reliable method to verify that each part meets its expected standards. Even if the overall comparison process has flaws and user feedback is unreliable, the standalone benchmark remains valid.

The issue is clear—your 12900k requires a 360mm AIO to avoid thermal throttling. Smaller AIOs lack the cooling power for a ~200w CPU. You could improve performance by adjusting settings and reducing the total power limit. Switch from the unlimited setting (like the water cooler on that MSI board, 4096w) to something more practical (the tower cooler). It might help, but it won’t be a perfect solution.

Yes, I'm checking for any concerns about the 12th generation Corsair AIOs. Have you installed an adapter bracket for mounting the block?

The current setup clearly can't maintain the chip's temperature during heavy stress. It looks like the H150i might have issues too, likely because of how it's installed.
