If it passes the frame skip test, it’s likely stable since that method detects issues more effectively than others. Additional indicators include visual glitches such as static, random colored pixels, blurry display, or distortion. Other possible problems are screen flashes turning black or sudden signal loss—these become clear signs of instability. Frame skipping is often less obvious, which is why the test usually confirms the issue. These problems can also stem from driver issues, so even if you observe them, it might not always point to a monitor problem. However, if you experience them while using your OC and it happens, it’s likely a clear cause.

Hi. The issue with your BenQ monitor on GTX 960 4GB appears when you increase the refresh rate to 75 Hz, causing blurriness. You're currently using DVI and intend to switch to an HDMI cable. Does the change in cable affect this problem?

Hi, I also have a BenQ monitor connected to a GTX 960 with 4GB RAM. When I increase the refresh rate to 75 Hz, the screen becomes blurry. I'm currently using DVI and plan to switch to an HDMI cable. Does the cable affect this? No, it doesn't matter unless we're talking about 4K resolution. I suggest lowering the refresh rate in increments of 5Hz (70, 65). Once a stable value is found, increase by 1 each time. It's possible my monitor can't be overclocked beyond 64Hz, so I'm keeping it at 60.
