Hi guys, as mentioned in the title I just purchased a Benq GL2460HM and overclocked it with AMD's custom resolution to 75hz.
I'm using an HDMI cable.
At first, CRU program showed some white static, so I reset the custom settings and then tried AMD's utility which gave me 75hz and it's working well even in CSGO!
I'm wondering if it's safe to keep this setting or should I revert to 60hz?
It's a brand new monitor and I don't want to damage it because I'm not wealthy and can't buy another one.
Here are the AMD settings links:

Ocing increases the load but with fixed voltages and limited adjustments, the impact isn't significant. It should remain functional for many years. As long as it stays stable, everything is fine. Have fun with 75hz!

Did you perform the frame skip test?

If it works then yes it will be fine. I had a cheap Acer monitor that was stuck at 75hz for more than a year, and it never broke.

Ocing increases the load but because you can't adjust voltages or other factors much, the change isn't significant. It should still function for many years. As long as it remains stable, everything is fine. Have fun with 75hz!

Ocing increases the load but since voltages and other factors can't be changed much, the difference isn't significant enough. It should still last a long time as long as it remains stable. You're welcome to keep enjoying 75hz.
Thanks for your question and the follow-up!

when it isn't stable it will black screen and go back to 60hz, 75hz isn't a huge jump, just as I mentioned, my OCD lasted over a year and my monitor was a cheap Acer one that cost me £80, BenQ is better than Acer.

If it passes the frame skip test, it’s likely stable since that method detects problems more effectively than others. Additional indicators include visual anomalies such as static similar to previous issues, randomly colored pixels, blurry display, or distortion. Other possibilities involve screen flashing black or sudden loss of signal, which become apparent when instability is severe. Frame skipping tends to be less obvious, which is why the test often serves as the final determination. These problems could also stem from driver-related faults, so even if you observe issues while using it, it may point to a software problem rather than a hardware defect.
