Check if the stock cooler suits your Ryzen 7 3700X.
Considering the Ryzen 7 3700X, would a stock cooler suffice? I plan to keep the clock speeds unchanged. The climate here tends to be warm, around 35-40°C during summers. What advice do you have?
Build has a few points to consider. CPU is a Ryzen 7 3700X, GPU uses Inno 3D RTX 2070 with two Super Twin cards, motherboard is Asrock B450M Steel Legends, PSU is Corsair CX 650W, RAM is Adata XPG D30 16 GB, SSD is Crucial BX500 960 GB, HDD is Seagate Barracuda 2TB, case is Antec NX 800.
You have the option to use a 3600 core configuration, or skip the additional cores if needed.
I own a Ryzen 7 3700X with a built-in cooler. At voltages between 1.35 and 1.375 and core speeds from 4.25 to 4.35 GHz, it ran smoothly without any problems. If you have good airflow, a minor overclock could be feasible. Be sure to stress-test the CPU using Cinebench multiple times or tools like AIDA64 or Prime95.
