I would like to play any games (like AC Syndicate, AC Unity, GTA V, Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Far Cry Primal/4 etc) on High Setting with a Smooth 45+ fps @1600x900. Is it possible with R9 270x? My PC Spec: CPU i5 3470 with Hyper 212x Cooler Asus 61ME Mobo 6 GB 1333 Ram 1 TB HDD I'm on a very tight budget. I Can afford- >A second hand R9 270x Vapor X for 11000 BDT (Bangladeshi; Taka 1$ == 80 BDT) + PSU for 2000 BDT. Or, > to wait for 1 and half month and buy again second hand R9 280x VX for 16000BDT + PSU for 4000BDT. What Should I do? I can't wait. It's been 2 months without gaming and I'm dying!

I don't have that information. Could you provide the details about your PSU and CPU?

Search for a PSU offer without generic options. Consider XFX or Seasonic products. Check the list provided at

I would hold off and purchase the 280x, I think the wait is worthwhile.

Thanks to that decision, I expect you'll be checking around 45 frames per second. You were hoping for that!

2GB is sufficient for 900p video quality.

I believe the R9 270x is a strong choice for that resolution. Witcher 3 might require a mix of medium and high settings. It’s just slightly less powerful than the GTX 960, but with an i5 it can handle most tasks well. http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvi...3165vs2188 This appears to be a solid pick for 900p ultra and high performance gaming.

Reviewing the 380 versus 960 benchmark highlights a sense of disappointment for the 960 model.

The 280x offers a really impressive GPU performance. If you were using 1080p, it makes sense to hold off and upgrade to the 280x. Compared to 1080p, it's about 44% more resolution, and roughly 25% more powerful than the 270x. You won't likely wish you hadn't chosen it, though the 270x still provides good quality for your needs.
