I didn’t need any adjustments, I finished the game fully and played it in 1440p with HBAO+ settings, no motion blur, depth of field enabled, low and high detail modes, ultra resolution, shadows, reflections, water effects, shaders, and double the MSAA. The visual quality was outstanding—text stayed crisp, details were sharp, and the effects felt realistic. After installing the supposed “graphical fix” mods, the experience dropped significantly, and performance suffered. Many expressed shock at the stark contrast between E3 previews and the final product, despite the game still looking solid. I only had screenshots of the settings I used, not the actual game files, since I didn’t own it.
It's a good idea if you don't mind the typical Ubisoft gameplay, such as visiting towers to access parts of the map and side quests. They've handled this in numerous titles, but it's starting to feel repetitive for me.
Is it beneficial to hit yourself in the face with a boxing glove just for the sake of it? The experience is poor, even at high speed. It’s not effective compared to a normal fist, and it’s causing issues on your 980. Including the graphics mods doesn’t change that.
I found the game quite engaging. Using your phone to bypass security and interfere with traffic signals is a fresh idea. While it demands a powerful PC for optimal performance, it’s manageable if you steer clear of busy zones where connectivity issues arise.
People often miss the point that The Worse Mod isn't the E3 graphics—it's just too much of a feature set and includes some elements like dynamic headlights.
I understand where I obtained my E3 mod. It's the top recommendation for purchasing it, and the installation process is quite straightforward. You can find more details on the forum here: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=393192
