I enjoyed the game enough, though I played it during the period when the mods were just beginning to feel more intuitive and perform well as they do now. In its present state, the mods introduce several nice features that don’t noticeably affect performance (such as headlight shadows, depth of field, and wind effects on trees). I mainly used it on a GTX 680 with 4GB of VRAM, achieving around 35-50 frames per second. After upgrading to a 980, I could run everything at full settings and maintain about 60 FPS. The game remains enjoyable, and I appreciated the extra content like hacking security cameras for humorous results. I didn’t find the digital deluxe edition worth the preorder (that’s my last such purchase, except for GTA5 for PC and MKX for PC, which have better chances on PC). If you can find Watch Dogs on sale and your system can handle its limitations, it’s a good choice.

I don't believe it's worth using graphic mods or skipping them altogether. The battles feel muddy and lackluster, the storytelling is poor, and the open-world experience is only average at best. It could work as a decent open-world game if you're not completely tired of the genre, but there are definitely better options available.

It had been released for PS4, yet I didn’t complete it because the story felt unoriginal and relied on familiar tropes. The drop-in and drop-out multiplayer mode was entertaining initially, but beyond that it lacked depth.
