It isn't due to increased bandwidth. Still, the fiber connections and switches might work better, reducing delays in packet delivery. Bandwidth won’t help if you’re sharing it with many users—video, audio, downloads, etc.—making the line busy. When space runs out, packets slow down until there’s room to send or receive. Packets move at light speed on both copper and fiber, so fiber doesn’t slow them down. Impurities in copper lines wouldn’t cause noticeable speed drops from resistance.
