You should be fine. Just don't expect to host any kind of server from your end. Leatrix Latency Fix will help a bit in lowering your ping. Old thing that was a godsend in my WoW days.

I'm experiencing the same slow performance you do, around 20ms latency on Battlefield 4 servers nearby. You should be okay if you join servers in your area.

You'll receive around 70ms to the servers in your region. Note: outside, the time varies, and the next country should have less than 100ms.

I'm based in Pakistan, so I don't anticipate such low speeds. In TF2, official servers often show around 170ms.

it has somekinda thick cable directly from the isp.Mostly i get 5mbps down.
