I'm preparing a PC with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X. I saw reports it overheats above 90 degrees. Is that still accurate? I’m unsure if a patch fixes it, so I’d consider the Spoiler Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L. Would it handle the heat? Your build includes: SSD (Samsung 860 QVO 1TB or GIGABYTE NVMe 1TB), AORUS Elite AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, VS650, GeForce RTX 2060 OC 6G, and Patriot Viper Steel Series 16GB DDR4 3200MHz. Thanks!

Opt for the 3600 model without the X for better value. The price gap lets you afford a decent air cooler. It doesn’t make sense to buy both a 3600X and a 240mm water cooler when you could invest in a Ryzen 7 3700 instead.

Do you already have everything ready? I’ll adjust a few things. A solid air cooler such as the Dark Rock 4 or NH-U14S works best. Water cooling would be too much, loud, and less dependable over time.
