Thanks! The design seems great. I switched to a GPU with RX 2060 for better performance. Not because of RTX, but since I plan to run some modeling, simple AI tasks, and other workloads that benefit from CUDA acceleration.

Also consider getting a good CPU cooler from Milos9999. Have you already got things like the case ready? Upgrading to the 2060 would be a great step.

Certainly, opt for a 1660S or 2060S.

Thank you for the suggestions. This looks solid. I might switch to a GPU with an RTX 2060 instead. Not because of the RTX itself, but since I’ll be doing some modeling, simple AI tasks, and other work that benefits from CUDA acceleration.

Plouffe and Sajiko, are you thinking of purchasing it immediately or postponing it? Any holiday discounts in mind?

Hold off until Black Friday and consider acquiring a 2070S, 3600x/3700x or Corsair RMx/TXm.

You don't need an expensive cooler. A decent 30-40 euro model usually suffices, especially if you avoid high voltages. Check out these options:
- HyTPxr Hyper-212 Black Edition 420 CFM
- Arctic Freezer 34 Esports Duo CPU Cooler (ACFREEZER)
- Silentium PC SPC130 786 CFM
- ETS T50 AXE Black 623 CFM

Some CPUs with poor soldering can cause poor heat transfer to the cooler base, making an air cooler less effective. In such cases, a better cooler might not be worth it. However, this isn't always the case.
