Can't update iCUE ?
Can't update iCUE ?
I have a huge problem, I find no solution anywhere, when I try to update icue, the update never goes through and it gives "error 1".
I searched on the corsair site but I see that they are very available in fact they never give answer.
However, if I try to update the firmware of the ram, the update works, wtf?!
When I do not update for too long icue, it happens that the PC literally goes crazy, yesterday gave me a BSOD, slows down on many operations sometimes forces me to restart everything because windows stops responding and does not let me open the task manager,
the only way I can update icue is to uninstall and reinstall with the new version
, What the heck is that?
Now I leave you my build specs, maybe there is something incompatible:
I5-9400f
Vegenace 8gb ddr4 x2
Rog Strix b365f
tx650w
Barracuda HDD 1TB
Gigabyte rtx2060 6GB
Not necessarily a Windows issue.
But I prefer to avoid the chance of damaged files.
Corrupted files might exist in both Windows and iCue.
It's possible one could be affecting the other.
If Windows operates smoothly without iCue, it's fine. Give a few days to confirm.
Reinstall iCUE using the latest version. Manually download, install, and adjust as needed. No external tools or programs.
I hope everything works properly and iCue updates without problems.

Check Reliability History and Event Viewer for any error codes, warnings, or informational events during issues. Pay special attention to entries involving iCUE.
If necessary, completely uninstall and remove iCUE. Assess whether the PC stabilizes and functions properly afterward. If not, proceed with "sfc /scannow" and "dism" to locate and repair corrupted Windows files.
