I used Hasleo WinToUsb and now I need to move my Windows files from one drive to another since I'm reinstalling there. After the reinstall, I want to restore the folders without any issues. Some settings got corrupted in the registry.

Avoid a full system reset. It provides a chance to remove all existing files and settings.

When you transfer everything to the WinToUsb prepared drive, your setup is lost. These tools (WinToUsb and others) are essential for building Windows on a USB, because the "preparing" step matters. If you overwrite all data, the process fails. It's not about making special files, but adjusting registry settings and installing drivers.
