It seems unusual. The idea is possible, but I’m not sure. If Disk A has Windows installed, you could try moving everything there. Boot from Disk A, remove the files from Disk B’s C: drive, then transfer them to Disk B’s partition. Would that work without issues?

It doesn't seem to function as expected. You might need a cloning tool instead.

Program files aren't required. User files are fine. Just adjust the location for your Libraries afterward.

Yes, I understand. However, it doesn't function properly on Windows to proceed.

I mean this clearly. What specific question or point are you asking about?

I just wanted to expand on my previous point. You don’t want to copy the whole User folder; that way, things like AppData stay in place. But your Photos, Music, Videos, and other files are flexible—you can relocate them wherever suits you best.

I attempted to clone the drive, but it failed. This happened in my scenario. Disk A runs a Windows To Go installer.

I utilized a tool that allows Windows to be accessed directly from a USB drive without needing a full Windows installation. This approach avoids the requirement for a specialized Windows To Go setup.
