I wasn't expecting that. A friend with a Crossfire setup has their opening card hitting its limit, while the rest are just sitting there.

I own a 980 Ti and i5 6600k. To maintain low shadow distance you’ll need an i7 with hyper-threading or a multi-core processor with six or more cores. Give it a try and experience it firsthand. For testing graphics performance, consider platforms like Good Neighbor.

My FX-6300 runs Fallout 4 at full settings smoothly, and I haven’t adjusted the shadow distance yet—it’s likely still using the default value.

Adjusted shadow distance and godrays to medium for stable 70+ FPS at 1440p. Other settings performed exceptionally well. However, shadows reached their limit causing drops into the low 30s.
