Can I force it out of its place by pulling or pushing the cables too much when linking the keyboard and mouse?

The motherboard must be firmly secured within the case; otherwise, you shouldn't be able to shift, pull, or displace it even after impact.

It takes one screw to secure it.

I'm not sure, but it's the a321m-k model from Asus. The computer is already working, but I had to switch my headset and keyboard, and I felt like I pushed it too hard while plugging it in. Now I'm a bit anxious about it.

Consider opening it and taking a look, keeping the power off just in case a motherboard pops out, lol.

The motherboard is built with a bit of wiggle room. Did you assemble the system yourself? You probably can tell if you installed it correctly or not. I remember it having six screw holes, though for such a compact board four screws should usually be enough.

I don’t have the exact count, but the box doesn’t include any replacement screws.

Generally, the issue involves screws rather than the motherboard itself. Check the number of screws present. If they’re numerous, it’s likely just a standard motherboard flex.

I kept operating the PC, and everything appeared fine. Temperatures and other readings were normal.
