Hello, I have a router with an external antenna sitting on my roof. If that antenna is not connected, the speed drops to zero. I want to use the router without that rooftop antenna so I don't lose high speeds. I looked for routers like this before and saw Huawei offering them around €700, but I can't find any more right now. Can anyone help me?

Your rooftop antenna might connect directly to your internet provider, which means you could need to switch service providers. What about the signal from your cell phone? Maybe a small wireless router would help fix that connection issue.

If your router needs one on the roof, it's either cellular or microwave broadband point-to-point. The ISP is the company that pays for your internet. They will tell us what tech you're using. If you have cellular internet, then maybe you don't need an external antenna, but a big outdoor one would give you better and more stable service.
