Can I fix up by clicking on recover?
i recently changed my motherboard. before that, one strange thing happened: my SSD (the main drive) wouldn't show up in the boot menu for some reason. today, i made a recovery disk, wiped out my SSD with fresh Windows, and fixed the issue. however, when i tried to use "recover from a drive" under troubleshooting options, it didn't appear. i checked that the USB was connected and plugged into different ports. i even restarted a few times, but nothing works! windows installs fine, but this recovery option stays hidden. anyone can help me?
How did you create "Recovery drive"? If you just copy fresh Windows on your hard drive, all the data gets wiped so there is nothing to recover. The only way to get back your stuff is to make a full disk backup using something like Macrium Reflect or another program before you reinstall Windows and then go ahead. Once that's done, you can still access your files.
