The aim assist feature isn't unique—controllers have their own quirks. You trade precision for smooth analog movement, making it a middle ground. The paintball aspect seems to be part of the setup, though. There were some concerns from teammates using AMD cards, but performance differences between AMD and Nvidia games appear minimal based on the tests.
The port seems attractive at first, but PC CoD tends to collapse quickly once it launches. The player base isn’t large enough for me to enjoy it on my PC. Currently, the most popular CoD titles on Steam range from a few thousand to tens of thousands of daily players, which is quite low. From a gameplay perspective, it appears to have potential, which is impressive given how often the same content repeats yearly.
Black Ops 2 performs well across all platforms. It's also worth noting that neither AMD nor Nvidia has issued a driver for CoD AW at this time. Regarding mouse acceleration, it's more of a visual adjustment rather than a new game mode—it simply alters the bullet appearance to paint balls, which helps with tracking shots.
This CoD stands out as a top-tier PC experience, surpassing the previous titles in quality. It enhances the futuristic vision Treyarch aimed for with Black Ops 2. The game appears poised to endure beyond the initial excitement around Titanfall. While I had some reservations about Sledgehammer’s track record, especially with MW3, the current project seems promising.
