I don’t understand how, but I recently dealt with stuttering and noticed DSR was at 2x. I didn’t enable it!
Is the stuttering limited to this game or does it happen in other titles too? Does it affect Windows applications as well? Does the audio also experience stuttering?
Sound performs consistently without issues. It tends to be more noticeable in gear 5, but I've seen similar problems in other titles such as CS GO and Witcher 3. I've downloaded process lasso and attempted to adjust thread settings based on SMT status. Changing threads when SMT is on and back when it's off didn't make a difference. The CPU Affinity under Always doesn't apply anything. The graph remains unchanged whether I disable the first or last half. I've watched some video guides but haven't succeeded. The product says it's Intel XMP certified, which I didn't realize was important until now. I thought I checked compatibility on the manufacturer's site, but there seems to be a mismatch—showing Hynix instead of MSI. Could this be the issue? If you can confirm, that would really help. It could be a RAM problem, but turning on 4K resolution might explain the issue. When using 4K, most processing shifts to the GPU, which could cause stuttering if one CCD0 chiplet is overloaded while the other CCD1 chiplet handles the rest.
