I just assembled my new computer and the debug light for the CPU and RAM are both active. It’s surprising they’re still working, especially since they’re brand new—unless I’m unlucky. I’m unsure what to do or how to proceed. I’ve tried almost everything I could think of. The CPU is a Ryzen 5 9600X, the RAM is Corsair Vengeance 2x16 DDR5 at 6000 MHz, the motherboard is MSI X670e Tomahawk, the GPU is RTX 4070, the PSU is Super Flower, and the SSD is a 1TB NVMe from Kingston.
This motherboard offers a BIOS Flashback option that allows you to refresh the BIOS using just the CPU and motherboard power connectors connected to it. You don’t have to install the CPU, RAM, or GPU—existing components are fine. On the back panel there’s a USB port labeled with the BIOS text. There’s also a button called BIOS Flashback or similar. X670 boards require a BIOS update for Ryzen 9000 to function properly.
