I just assembled my new computer and the debug light for the CPU and RAM are both active. It’s surprising they’re still working, especially since they’re brand new—unless I’m unlucky. I’m unsure what to do or how to proceed. I’ve tried almost everything I could think of. The CPU is a Ryzen 5 9600X, the RAM is Corsair Vengeance 2x16 DDR5 at 6000 MHz, the motherboard is MSI X670e Tomahawk, the GPU is RTX 4070, the PSU is Super Flower, and the SSD is a 1TB NVMe from Kingston.

Have you already updated the BIOS for your Ryzen 9000 series motherboard?

It won’t show anything when you power it up, and I’m unsure how to fix this without using the BIOS settings. Is there another method?

This motherboard offers a BIOS Flashback option that allows you to refresh the BIOS using just the CPU and motherboard power connectors connected to it. You don’t have to install the CPU, RAM, or GPU—existing components are fine. On the back panel there’s a USB port labeled with the BIOS text. There’s also a button called BIOS Flashback or similar. X670 boards require a BIOS update for Ryzen 9000 to function properly.

I tried to update the BIOS but I'm not confident it's successful. Each time I connect the USB drive and press the flash BIOS button, the indicator flashes briefly before settling into a steady state without changing.

I noticed my error and it looks like the bios is being updated now! I missed removing the bios file from the folder and clearing other items. I’ll provide a more detailed update once it’s finished.

It worked perfectly now. This was a final attempt, but I'm really pleased with the result. I was worried I was going crazy and might end up spending a lot on extra components. Thanks a ton for your assistance!
