Bluetooth laptop connected to PC For wireless transfer and compatibility
It probably depends on your laptop. Some laptops have a Wi-Fi/ Bluetooth chip in the form of a M.2 2230. In this case you should be able to put it in a desktop with a compatible M.2 Slot If it's an older mini pcie type card it may require a pcie to mini pcie card to be able to get it working. There's also a chance that it's directly soldered to the Motherboard in which case it may be easier to just purchase a pcie or M.2 wireless card.
They produce connectors that allow you to insert a laptop mini PCIe card into a desktop PCIe port. You’d also need one that provides external antennas, because laptops have internal wires in the screen bezel for their wireless connections. A USB Bluetooth adapter would be more affordable and simpler.
