I experimented with different configurations. Fast boot worked smoothly without problems. Using an M.2 drive was successful. After changing it to "Msi Fast Boot," the system failed to detect any boot or input device. I understand a BIOS reset could help, but it’s challenging due to my conditions. Anyone else have suggestions?

Open the bios settings and clear every setting. Navigate to the final few tabs. Refer to the second and third entries...

Ensure your CMOS is reset if you can't access your BIOS.

Avoided accessing BIOS, just couldn’t locate the drives. Had to check the MSI board manual, page 41. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/...own-manual

This setup ensures your inputs aren't overlooked. I confirmed the details beforehand. That's why I'm here. No external devices like keyboards or mice are detected or powered during this mode. Port changes don't affect it. Updated February 29, 2020 by Dee Dos – Info revised

I noticed you have certain limitations that complicate CMOS resets. You can use a switch from an old case to connect to the CMOS pins and simplify things. For now, the JM21 model works best—just reach into the CMOS jumpers.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll look for a CMOS reset that might be left in the package. MSI tends to add one when they include mobos.
