BF4 Frames
BF4 Frames
I experience strange frame rates at low-medium settings on bf4 multiplayer, especially on small maps like Operation Locker. On average, I see 50-60 frames per second. My system includes an AMD FX 6300, a GTX 770 with 4038 MB RAM and about 8 GB of built-in memory. It seems there could be an issue with my setup, as this problem occurs frequently across many games.
Don't stress, everything matches up here with a 2GB card. Used to hit over 70 FPS, and around 70 at the lowest settings. After that big update, my GTX 770 struggled a lot with BF4, especially since it's an AMD-optimized game.
The FX-6300 wouldn't cause a bottleneck when paired with a 770 in BF4.

It works well at lower to medium levels with the GTX 770, though performance drops when the CPU is busy. This depends heavily on the processor. On servers with many players, my 4670k only keeps up around 60 fps occasionally.
The CPU bottleneck on a 6-core system seems unlikely, particularly for operation locker. The 6300 could be underpowered, but it's based on a 4th generation chip—BF4. Remember the games that demand all the cores? Still, you might want to push overclocking.
It really does. The performance drops by roughly 10-20% compared to an i5, even with a 750ti processor. You don’t have to rely on a top-tier graphics card just for the CPU to slow things down. A CPU will always be the limiting factor, but the more powerful the GPU, the bigger the difference in frame rates will be. In short, the bottleneck grows along with the performance. The 770 would still achieve higher FPS with an i5 or i7.
