It varies depending on the laptop. Hearthstone works with almost any device.

It all comes down to how bad your current laptop is. If it’s really slow, you might be okay with Civilization 4. It can run many older games from GOG that have been updated for Windows 7 or 8. But if you want something better, you’ll need a new one.
