I tend to favor OpenSUSE because of its user-friendly interface and the convenient GUI package manager with KDE integration. However, this opinion is quite personal, as others have pointed out different perspectives before.

I typically switch between OpenSUSE and Fedora, both solid choices. They offer great stability, fast updates, and most setup is ready to go. For laptops, I prefer Fedora because of its Gnome setup and the impressive performance of virtual desktops on smaller screens. On desktops or with a Nvidia GPU, I opt for OpenSUSE since it’s simpler to install and supports larger displays. KDE works well with OpenSUSE, which has one of the top KDE experiences among distros.

The discussion was placed in the correct part, and I’ll provide more details about "best" since it varies based on your actions.

Top Linux distributions in 2022 according to TechRadar—though their take is just another perspective. PCLOS stands out right now, but I’m not sure about the rest. LOL

It's noteworthy that Elementary OS didn't appear on the selection. While I don't personally relate to it, it seems like a unique choice compared to the more mainstream options. For those familiar with macOS, it might feel unfamiliar, as it represents one of the interesting Linux distributions that require payment for use.
