We’ve checked various configurations and discovered Lubuntu works on older systems like Pentium II or Celeron with as little as 128 MB RAM. However, such setups wouldn’t handle daily tasks efficiently. Increasing RAM to 256–384 MB improves performance and usability. At 512 MB or more, the experience becomes much smoother.
