Graveyard Shift isn't great, especially if your gun lacks an IR scope. The terrain still looks like it has a huge lighting effect, even though the sky is actually overcast. This also reduces the usefulness of flashlights, which often end up putting you in danger. I lost more lives and got caught running through cover more than usual, and honestly, I'm not very sneaky. The concept is solid on paper, but the actual playthrough fell short.

but it remains completely dark inside structures when you turn off the lights; the Gamma level drops to what it should be. this happens in both settings. with arma 3, if you adjust it according to the instructions, it stays very dark at night. you definitely need NV goggles (it looks impressive, but it reduces your accuracy). you won’t be able to see anything clearly.

My gamma values are perfectly set, yet it doesn't matter because more than half of the enemy team has IR or NV sights, letting me bypass a lot of the map. Bonus: I’ll admit this, it’s significantly better than BF3's night maps.

I recently purchased the premium version of the game and I really enjoy it! I'm also using a GTX 970, with most of my settings set to ultra and a few on high. What versions are you currently running?
