It's going to be a blast! I've spent a lot of time on BF4. But this is going to be a really exciting event—FLIR and IRNV style!
A flashlight isn't super helpful; it just lets you see people, except maybe in very dark places. Throw a flare in it for better visibility. It's not really dark, and tanks are strong—they can spot everyone using infrared.
Excited to see it again! It should add some energy to the game. Glad BF4 was my return to the BF series (just played it in 1942, hehe).
Not exactly what I expected—they work just right, keeping infantry safe. The tanks are noisy and bright, making them easy to spot. Losing one feels like your own mistake. Once the tanks are decent, the gameplay really improves. I had a squad that covered the whole area with flares. From the helicopter it looked stunning. Speaking of, I wish the helicopter had a big spotlight on the nose.
Ideal for distracting others, just ensure it's turned off later.
