Battlefield 1 causes a brief blue tint and red circles to appear occasionally. It seems to be unique to this game. With a 980ti hybrid system, 120 cores and 150 memory slots, do you have any suggestions?

Turn off V-sync when it is active.
You might also attempt to disable the Origin In-Game-Overlay (similar applies for Steam in-game overlays that aren't needed, though they can be resource-heavy).
Refer to the support page for instructions: https://support.direct2drive.com/custome...in-overlay
Check the guide on optimizing game graphics settings: http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/batt...imize-fps/
They are using DirectX 11 graphics mode.
For nVidia users:

All games should run in DirectX11 mode – nVidia currently lacks strong support for DirectX 12 or Vulkan compared to AMD.

It's actually straightforward to reach the maximum in Battlefield 1 with a 980ti and the current configurations are up to date.

Various games respond uniquely to overclocking, so it's best to reduce the settings slightly.

For AMD users:
With DirectX 12 enabled, AMD recommends certain settings
http://radeon.com/en-us/battlefield-1-re...-settings/
In AMD Radeon Relive, go to the menu > Relive off – only enable it for recording or capturing gameplay.
This works very well.
A note for streamers: OBS won’t function properly with DirectX 12.
Best regards from Sweden
