It's not necessary for Speccy and CPU-Z to show the DRAM speed as 2133Mhz. They can use other values if needed.

nothing at all. If the memory controller or Zen+ doesn't exceed 3466mhz, then it's likely because you've won the silicon lottery. You're more likely to succeed at 3466mhz or below. That explains why it stops at 3333mhz instead of 3600mhz. Surprised that nobody else mentioned this—it's been widely known since launch a few months ago. This is just the IMC/IF for Zen+ not reaching higher frequencies. It has nothing to do with memory; it can technically hit 3600mhz, but only on CPUs and architectures that support it. Zen+ itself caps around 3466mhz. The Ryzen 3000 with Zen 2 faces the same limitation, capping at about 3733mhz or so. On those higher-end lines, you can unlock the IF from the memory controller to extend performance.

Your system should handle 3600Mhz easily using the XMP profile, but you may still need some manual adjustments for optimal performance.

the 3600 will operate at 3600mhz smoothly. also, you won’t be seeing 3600mhz on the 2700x no matter how much you adjust. the IF/IMC isn’t fast enough for that speed. it’s better to try 3466mhz or maintain 3333mhz.
