You're running a powerful setup with a 7820x, 32GB RAM, and a 2080 Ti FE on preorder. The game is installing on a 960 EVO NVMe SSD but you're still hitting around 40 FPS at 1080p, no matter the settings. Seeing what others are experiencing would be helpful.

The game is a scam, and there are reports about it. I'm glad I didn't hand them my money. A good rule is to wait until the full release before giving any company funds. A poorly optimized game will never be fully released. It's tough to accept, but that's life...

It’s the most fraudulent scheme ever. They’re diverting the money from supporters to fund a real game.

Absolutely in agreement with you about this scam. They’ve released gameplay for Squadron 42 along with regular updates, added extra funds, and expanded the project. Recently they hired more staff to handle the current release so more work gets done. It’s a clear attempt to mislead. And you’re right—don’t hand money to companies that push only predictable, low-quality games and expect good results.

The specifications might be limited by the server, similar to how Arma 3 operates.

Xeon W3680 Asus P6X58D-E board with 36GB DDR3 RAM and a GTX970 graphics card. Performance around 20-35fps at 1440p resolution. Frank would likely choose a six-core Xeon for this build.
