Consider Ventoy for a test: https://www.ventoy.net/en/download.html It’s quite straightforward to operate, but if assistance is needed, watch this video. Once you launch from Ventoy, choose your desired ISO—Mint or Fedora—and select the mode you wish to start with. If normal mode fails, switch to grub2.

I'm not sure if we share the same problem, but I also have a 5700X with an NVIDIA GPU and a black screen issue. It just freezes on a black screen right before the boot screen appears. Once I tried fixing it, it worked only once.
