That’s the boot menu. Is there a display showing the error? Just swapping the old system and increasing RAM should improve performance.

Yes, the SSD is now functioning properly on the older PC and significantly improves speed. The 4GB RAM will still be helpful, though it may not make a huge difference since the system is already optimized.
