Assemble a setup with Ryzen 3700X, Evga Supernova P2 1000, and Corsair DDR4 3600. Plugging it in causes the motherboard to light up, yet pressing power doesn’t trigger anything.

I thought since the RGB is showing up, the motherboard hasn’t blown yet.

I don't have enough information to identify the motherboard. Could you provide more details or describe its features?

Have you linked the speaker and is it emitting a beep code sound?

But remember, you'll need to link the speaker properly. Otherwise, you won't receive the beep code even if it's included on the motherboard.

The instructions don't mention whether this speaker is included with the motherboard.

This motherboard model doesn’t include a speaker. I believe there’s an LED display on the board that shows which section is responsible for the issue, as mentioned on page 24 of the manual. There are four LEDs that can help identify whether the problem lies with the CPU, GPU, or memory.

The LED indicators weren't activating, this wasn't my project but we didn't manage to get it functional. A few unclear points: 1) He used his PSU from an old PC that's six years old; it still functions as long as the wattage matches, right? Does every PSU need the same power? 2) He struggled with connecting the LED front lights and power switch. None of the fans turned on, which is visible in the photo—we think RGB lighting on the motherboard suggests it's working.
