Hello! A few months ago, my Z690 glacial extreme MB stopped working with Wi-Fi. I reached out to both ASUS and Windows support, but they had to dismantle my system and return the board, which was damaged during shipping. They eventually sent me another unit, but it came out of the box with no lights or Q-codes. Now they think I might have ordered a keyboard instead. Their customer service has been unreliable. Since I can't afford to replace the board myself and am filing a loss claim with my insurance, I'm trying to find similar parts to replace it. I don’t want to wait another month for another RMA from ASUS.

It's a complete custom hard line loop made from acrylic. My system includes an RTX 4090 with a water block, a 13900k CPU, four 16GB DDR5 RAM modules, and two M.2 drives. I'm currently using the O11 Dynamic XL case because I managed to acquire a front panel pump reservoir combo for it.

It seems you're dealing with an older motherboard lacking the latest BIOS updates. You might want to clear everything and install a fresh BIOS. This should resolve any issues without errors, especially since it won't support the newer CPU. If problems persist, consider checking out the recommended board at Alphacool for reliable performance without extra bells and whistles.

That's what I had to do initially. I need the tech to check it out, as he's already told me I'm being unreasonable. Should I remove everything or keep the current setup? Thanks.

He called you an idiot for what? Just need the power source active, 5VSB signal present, a correctly formatted flash drive (often FAT32), and the file moved to the top of the file system.

Usually it works with installation, but occasionally you might face issues requiring removal of CPU and RAM. That sounds pretty unprofessional!

They didn’t know at first when they constructed it (same individuals) that my GPU water black would stop working like the RGB lights failed. He never connected it.

It seems like someone who isn’t used to reading scripts, probably a repair technician, is on the line. It’s not unexpected they might have damaged the board or it could be extremely old equipment.
