ASUS requested that I submit my board for an RMA, but received a defective one instead.
Hello! A few months ago, my Z690 glacial extreme MB stopped working with Wi-Fi. I reached out to both ASUS and Windows support, but they had to dismantle my system and return the board, which was damaged during shipping. They eventually sent me another unit, but it came out of the box with no lights or Q-codes. Now they think I might have ordered a keyboard instead. Their customer service has been unreliable. Since I can't afford to replace the board myself and am filing a loss claim with my insurance, I'm trying to find similar parts to replace it. I don’t want to wait another month for another RMA from ASUS.
The remaining specifications include: custom loop details, performance metrics, and design constraints.
It's a complete custom hard line loop made from acrylic. My system includes an RTX 4090 with a water block, a 13900k CPU, four 16GB DDR5 RAM modules, and two M.2 drives. I'm currently using the O11 Dynamic XL case because I managed to acquire a front panel pump reservoir combo for it.
It seems you're dealing with an older motherboard lacking the latest BIOS updates. You might want to clear everything and install a fresh BIOS. This should resolve any issues without errors, especially since it won't support the newer CPU. If problems persist, consider checking out the recommended board at Alphacool for reliable performance without extra bells and whistles.
That's what I had to do initially. I need the tech to check it out, as he's already told me I'm being unreasonable. Should I remove everything or keep the current setup? Thanks.
It seems like someone who isn’t used to reading scripts, probably a repair technician, is on the line. It’s not unexpected they might have damaged the board or it could be extremely old equipment.
