Bump! Identical problem again. ASUS ROG Strix LC 360 RGB cooler. Fans linked via a 1x4 ARGB splitter, provided with the cooler and connected to the "ADD_GEN 2" 3-pin header.

Same issue with the NZXT RGB fan that comes with the H510 elite—it turns green and isn’t detected by NZXT Cam, even when connected to the smart device. It works fine when plugged into the motherboard 4-pin connector. Also, when linked to the fan/RGB hub, it shines very faintly. (The board is an Aorus Elite X570 WiFi, the fan is currently in the C1 LED header on the bottom left)

I'm facing the same issue with my LC 360 again. It functioned properly for a day before everything stopped except a faint green light from one fan. The Asus logo light is still working on the CPU, but all other lights are off. Anyone have any suggestions or fixes?

I've experienced the same problem with the LC 360 on my AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970x. The ARGB fans would occasionally flicker, then eventually stopped working completely after about two months. They only had a faint green glow from the case exhaust fan when lights were present. I returned to ASUS for an RMA, and they sent me a replacement unit. It seems to be functioning normally now. The room temperature averages around 78°F in summer, with idle temps swinging between 40°C and 60°C. That range feels quite high for typical ambient conditions—would you consider switching to a Noctua NH-U12S and adjusting the fan settings?

It's not just me either—still no solution... if only ASUS had released those RGB fans STONKS.

I recently assembled a new rig and encountered the same problem. The fans were very disappointed, so I’m considering sending it back to Microcenter for the Corsair. It would be a waste of effort since the setup looks great. The issue should be fixed by Asus.

It just happened to me when I tested my new setup—it functioned perfectly. The RGB displayed a vivid bright orange, and one was white, but suddenly everything turned green.

Just installed the ROG Strix LCII 240 ARGB and still facing the same problem—only one fan light glows pale green. The motherboard is an Asus Z690 Prime with Wi-Fi. Anyone have any ideas or fixes?

Same problem here, with ASUS ROG Strix 360 LGC RGB, the fans are plugged in but aren’t turning on.
