My family has a huge budget and they're building a gaming or streaming setup. Their main concern is choosing the right CPU. I was considering the 9900K to boost the 5.1 surround sound on the OC, but I'm torn between adding two extra cores with a 10900K or sticking with AMD options like the 3900 or 3950. They have a Ferrari and a Rolls-Royce—money’s not the issue, they just want top-tier performance. What makes sense from a price-to-performance standpoint?
With an unlimited budget, focus on the superior choice regardless of cost. Also consider AMD options, which offer strong processors at a more affordable price, and remember that saving money is always appreciated.

Secure two setups—one for gaming and another for screen capture. Take your time with the 10,900k build to compare options, though the capture machine should ideally run a top-tier CPU like a Threadripper for handling H.264 encoding at an extremely demanding level.
For gaming and most tasks it performs worse than the 9900k/3900x. The form factor might matter. An ITX option could be interesting.
