WIN PARENTING! Your insights are valuable. I focus on staying connected with your child, while I’ll adjust the challenge level if needed. I usually prefer the hardest settings because the struggles and setbacks fuel my motivation. If I wanted to skip the story again, I’d go easy on it. Thanks for discussing your parenting approach—you’re doing great!

I’m really considering your suggestion. As we get older—this is true—they prefer simpler things. It’s time to step away from these intense games for now! Thanks!

You're absolutely correct about stepping away for a while—whether a week or months helps. Switching to a new hobby is a smart move too. My recent purchase was MGSV, and it really paid off. I'm hoping for another great deal soon. I'm a bit nervous about the game's Civilizations mechanics, though. Will it be too complex for someone just starting out?

I had a similar experience, though the reasons might differ. I put together two old PCs (Windows 95/98/XP) — it cost me around two new games today — and began playing games I hadn’t played since the 90s and early 2000s. Now I feel like a gamer again. Perhaps something like this could work for you too.

It began with learning the fundamentals of alpha or beta and I couldn't recall exactly where I started. I kept experimenting then big features like multiplayer emerged. Next, I focused on building my own servers, creating mini games, trying modded versions, and developing my own mods. Eventually I just stopped. I really played that game until it was over.
