I've spent a lot of time with Metal Gear Solid V, GTA V and The Witcher 3, which raised my expectations so high that even a low-quality game like AC:Syndicate quickly lost my interest before an hour was up. I looked up "gaming fatigue" and saw it's become a common issue for parents or those in their early thirties. If you've experienced it too, what strategies helped you push through? How do you maintain that gaming experience when you have kids already?

Explore various game genres. If you prefer more open-world RPG experiences, consider shifting to lighter styles such as Heroes of Might and Magic. Alternatively, you can change the genre entirely.

Hey there, @legacy99, you're right—this could really help. It might take the edge off all the intense stuff in gaming now. Appreciate the tip!

It's been a bit of a rollercoaster lately. I used to really dislike gaming, but now I'm diving back in nonstop. It wasn't because I kept getting too many good games, but because I just needed something different. Let's jump back into OW elo-hell!

It seems like you're reflecting on why you decided to revisit the game. The feedback suggests it's enjoyable for some, but playing during this phase might not be ideal. You're curious about the reasons behind your return, so keep exploring!

It seems your body and mind are eager to try new experiences, but your inner voice keeps urging you back to familiar, enjoyable routines.

@legacy99 suggested it might suit me too, OW isn't as heavy or intense as other titles—just meant for enjoyment. I even ordered ahead since I really wanted to try it! Overall, I’d recommend giving it a shot if it feels like something fun.

It brought back a TED Talk about human habits. That's a solid observation! I'm glad you found it useful! Appreciate the insight.

This often happens to me, my latest title is The Witcher 3. I’d really suggest trying something else, because when I get bored of gaming I usually switch to making music or watching anime (those are my alternatives). I’m only really excited about three games—FF15 (just a PC, so not soon), Persona 5..., and Mafia 3. Sometimes I need a break too.
